How to Advertise Politics
So last week was election day and i've been noticing all kinds of political advertising around town. And i started thinking about ways to advertise yourself to get people to vote for you, and i thought i would write a blog to help people out. I've seen many different methods of political advertising. The first and most popular form of advertising for politics is putting up those signs on the side of the road with your name and position on them to get your name out. If your name is the only one somebody remembers then there is a pretty good chance they will vote for you in your election. So you can always get signs to advertise your political running. Next, and i think this is probably a pretty good way to get people to know what you represent, you can use automated telephone dialer, or predictive dialer for political announcements on your behalf. Send them a recorded message that you recorded yourself, and use the predictive dialer to call all your peers to get your political message and views to them through the telephone. It is the same idea that many telemarketers use and can be very useful. One method i have seen that is not very popular, but I was at Walmart and when i came out, a woman that was running for office was handing out flyers and asking people to vote for her in person. This could be an effective form of advertitsement if you found a place where lots of people would be so that you could reach a maximum number of people with your face to face encounters and political advertisement. Politics is a very competitive race and very hard to get effective advertising. You can always purchase a billboard slot if it is affordable. Also, you can run commercials on your local channels asking people to vote for you and advertise while they watch television. The visual aid that a television commercial provides can really show people what your views and thoughts and plans are. So if commercials are an affordable option i would definitely advise advertising in this way. Well that's my ideas, so ill leave you to it.
